Happy Independence Day!

It is July the 4th and cloudy with a 40% chance of rain today! We are still waiting for summer here in the PNW, the forecast looks promising though. Sunny days ahead. This is our annual Family Fun Week-on the agenda bonfires, BBQing, Jetty Island, strawberry picking, and a trip to Forks, WA for some hiking.

T-Ball

A great day for T-Ball! Andy is on the Sharks Team. He looks so cute in the batting helmet and did a great job hitting, catching, and throwing. Daddy is a most excellent coach.

Now we are bouncing.....

Got a trampoline for the kiddos this summer. They have been bouncing every day and at all hours. Andy is starting to get the hang of it. We have been having lots of neighbor kids over to bounce. A great workout and way to burn energy. It makes my tummy a little queasy though.

Tulips!

We enjoyed the beautiful Tulip Festival, on the most perfect sunny Sunday, with the rest of the Puget area! Traffic there, tulips and company were wonderful, then traffic back- oh well, it was an experience. My friend Carmen and her sweet hubby Rick visited us, they loved the photo ops of the tulip fields. Rick tried his best to take family photos of us Barrett 6, but we are difficult- squinty eyes, wiggly bodies, and trying to get us all looking in one direction at once. Hope he got something workable.
So pretty, but never on a sunny Sunday again!

Future of Flight

Happy to celebrate with the Matthews family at Capt. Dan' Retirement Party at the Boeing Future of Flight. Jan and Dan Matthews are a sweet couple from church that are a wonderful example of loving others and hospitality. Exciting things in their future, no sitting back for them!

Happy Resurrection Day!

A surprisingly beautifully sunny day! Church this morning and a family brunch this afternoon. We are truely thankful for what Jesus did for all us all, He created The Way for us to be re-connected with Him.
